Pictus Cats not Eating

Just got 3 pictus and I also bought some pellet shrimp to feed them. They seem interested but it looked like it was too big for their mouths so I crushed it into smaller pieces and then put it in. Now they suck it into their mouths but don't eat it and just spit it back out! What other foods to pictus like?

I would buy frozen blood worms I feed them to every fish i ever owned(feshwater&salt).I currently have two pictus cats and i feed them blood worms or Hikari sinking carnivore pellets and they love them.

Do you feed them any veggies

Ya they like to eating these sinking algae discs(my oscar loves them to) which i thought was wierd but u might try those or goto the petstore where u got him and ask what they fed it and see if they sugest anything. Hope this helps

They are carnivores.
