platy delivering babies

How often can a platy have babies? My piggie female had a bunch a few weeks ago. Is she preg again or just overeating again? Thanks in advance

I think it's around every 4 weeks give or take a few days, not sure if the same applies to platys as guppys but she may be able to store sperm for upto 3 batches of fry so get ready for plenty of babies even if you do manage to keep her away from the males you could end up with another 3 births yet
