I have many baby carp in my outdoor pond - it's been an unusually good year for them - and wanted to bring some indoors during the cold winter months - I live in the Northeast - is there any special considerations for transfering from pond to tank other than keeping the water PH the same?

Many thanks

They might get stressed if you move them.
Just buy a water heater for your pond and theyl be alright.
I have koi in my garden. And i also have my goldfish i used to have in my tank.
And there all fine when it gets cold

I have to agree with Robert- you are much better off buying a heater or simply a de-icer for your pond (if its at risk of freezing over). Carp/koi/common goldfish all will winter without an issue as long as the surface doesnt freeze over (necessary for gas exchange). Just make sure you stop feeding once the temp gets @50f. They will very stressed if you try to move them to a tank so i dont recommend trying to do this.
