protection of tank

how would you go about bombing your house for fleas and other bugs if you have a tank? would you just cover tank? if so, with what? would you have to turn off all filters and stuff? do you have to remove the whole tank???? what to do?

I would not bomb the house for fleas because it would mean taking the tank out of the house while the air cleared. Or rather I wouldn't leave the tank anywhere near any insecticide residues!
