If you're talking pH 8.5 or something, I wouldn't do rams. If you're at more like pH 8.0, you may be able to acclimate Bolivians to that (many are bred in the mid-7's). You probably won't get the best colors, but my guess is that Bolivians may work at 8.0-ish. Blue/Gold Rams will be more difficult.
