I will soon be setting up a 60 gallon tank for my juvenile CAE's. I have six of them. Their only tankmate now is a baby guppy, as they are the only fish I have that won't eat him up for dinner.

I've wanted a redtail shark for years and find them absolutely fascinating fish. The 60 gallon is the only large tank I will have. Given adequate space and tank decor, with lots of places to hide, would these fish be compatible?

I'm also prepared to set up two separate feeding stations at either end of the tank, should territory problems arise.

I have one of each in a 20 gallon tank. They do have little squabbles every now and then but even in that small space they each have their own little lair.
