rock question

I went to a creek found some rocks that would make good rockscape. I soaked them in bleach for a day, rinsed them off, soaked them in prime for a day, rinsed, soaked them in more prime. Today I did a vinegar test. No fizz. But I noticed some of the rocks had rust spots. Has any one come across something like that? Ill attach pics soon.

A lot of my rocks have that. Haven't seen any problems from it.

May be sediment? I don't know never payed much attention to rocks. to notice something like that. To me a rock is a rock, lol.
