Rocks

Hey all i would search this but the search button does not work on the android app.

i am about a week into a fish in cycle as i have just come back from marine and my tank is a bit bare at the moment. I was wondering instead of buying rock i will find some and use that as it is obviously cheaper.

what i wanted to know is how do you guys make it safe, i no the vinegar test to check the rock but i have read to boil it and then others say don't boil it as it can blow up, and i have read bleach it while people also say don't as all the bleach is hard to remove from the rock so im a bit confused as how to do it

I've using hot/boiling water and diluted bleach solutions to clean my rocks. When using the bleach solution just make sure to rinse extremely well and I also soaked it in a bucket with some Prime.
