Does anybody know much about these fish?

I'm planning on getting some fig 8 puffers for my brakish 26 Bow and have read that they make good tank partners but I cannot find any info about them out there.

Basically I need to know how fast they grow and how big they get - would my tank even be a good place for them to live? thanks!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Scats require HUGE tanks, with very good filtration and need SW after about 10 months. They should be considered SW fish, they eat ALOT and grow very fast reaching 8" after only 4 months. I have two in my 135g and they grew 6" in less than 4 months. You'd need at least a 125g to house any amount of scats, they're also shoaling fish that need groups of 4 or more. All the stores out here sell them as SW when adults and BW as youngsters.
