I have three blue gouramis and all morning one of them has been hovering behind the filter intake and the other two seem to visit it. Should I be concerned? I fed them already this morning and they all ate fine then this started.

Hi! Some more information would be helpful:

1. What size tank?
2. What other fish, if any?
3. How long has the tank been set up? Is it cycled?
4. What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)?
5. What's your water change schedule?

The more info the better!

1. 20 gallons
2. No other fish in this tank
3. Tank was cycled has been set up for a year now
4. Water parameters are all normal I test every morning before feeding
5. I do weekly water changes more only if levels make it necessary

The minimum for a blue gourami is 20 gallons and stocking 3 in there might be getting stressful on the fish since they seem to be rather large. If possible your best bet would be to upgrade to a larger tank
