sick fish no signs

Over the past week I lost 2 fish the setup has been running 4 6 months the water parameters is perfect ph is a lil high but I'm working on it.
Can some1 give me some advice..

When you say the ph is a little high but you are working on it, what does that mean? Sometimes the things people do to change ph can affect the fish badly.
