I am wondering if I can use the little silica packets you find in shoe boxes etc to keep fish food dry? The weather has been so damp/humid here that my flake food is not as dry as usual so it is very harsh to crumble for my fry & nanos. If not right in the container, somehow suspended above the food in a nylon stocking or something similar

Silica packets are typically food grade, so they would be useful and harmless to keep fish food dry. A packet of rice would help as well, although not as effective as silica.
