which is a better combo?

I'm looking for a nice bottom feeder to add to my tank
I always see silver dollars with clown loaches, but I like yoyo loaches.

What do u think is a better look/compatibility.

Well, what size tank we talking here?
I would personally go with the yoyo's.

I have both and I love them! Clown are very colourfull and fun. Yo yos are even more active allways digging. I'm not sure about the compatibility with silver dollars.

tank size is important as RoK mentions. Clown loaches will reach 8" or more as adults, and need at least 75gallons of swimming space at that point.
They'll hit about 2-2.5" in the first year, and then grow an inch per year after that. So after teh second year, their 3" body would need a tank about 30-36" long just for ample swimming space.

I bought 4 yo-yo/pakistani loaches today.

they make the PERFECT combo with silver dollars (actually ALL loaches make a great combination with silver dollars including the clown loach).

the Yo-yo loaches are great !!
they are Hardy
they are very active - making great dither fish.
Now my silver dollars are NOT shy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so that's the lesson for the day - if your silver dollars are shy - get some loaches (clown or yo-yo), they will come out more !!!

its amazing to see the silver dollars schooling now !!!
