Since last week ive been seeing alot of tiny baby snails on the side of the aquarium. Like an idiot, rather than remove them i squished them with my finger to kill them (underwater). i must of killed like 10 of them.

Now there is thread-like white slime on the surface of my water, and covering the glass. Is this because of the dead snails? Will it get worse? Should i do some water change, or wait it out.

Thanks

Well, it turns out half these white dots are tiny bugs. They have jerky-type movements, and dont really seem to stop. They are all over my aquarium glass. They seem to also annoy the fish a bit.

They are very, very small and white (most are circular) with fuzzy-type legs around them. Are these some type of pods?

Anyone?
