Stingray :)

Hey everyone just thought I would share what I found today at a LPS, I've only seen a few threads on freshwater stingrays. I first saw this ray a few weeks back and he seemed lively and swimming around. He didn't look to good today though.

The way the move about and the overall style is just amazing. Was just wondering if anyone bows of any stingray that remains enough to have in a 90gallon?

all i know is stingrays like round tanks and a huge footprint is needed.

I would say something like an 8 foot tank would be a fair minimum and they are not easy to keep from what I have heard.

No Motoro stingrays get very very large. My work has a mated pair and the female is an easy 1.5 feet in diameter and are in a 500 gallon big footprint tank. And they get larger than that
