Stock OK?

So my friends tank is a 50 gallon tank with an aquaclear 70 on it. He has:
•5 red eye tetra
•4 bosemani rainbow fish
•1 convict cichlid
•1 honey gourami
•1 black shark
•1 bristle nose pleco
•1 green phantom pleco
• 1 porthole catfish
Is this overstocked or is there any problem with his stock?

Bala's need at least a 125 because they are schooling fish and also grow up to 16".
