Can't tell how many threads there are askin for a big oddball In a 29 gallon tank!
Your options are going to be very limited in this tank. An angel fish might work, a pair of rams, Kribs, or apistos. Not really a ton of options

Who don't you give tanganyikan shell-dwellers a go?
How about an Angelfish, a pair of bolivian rams, and a pair of honey gouramis? And some larger shrimp like amano shrimp?
