what kinds of algae will otos eat?

I'm in the process of setting up a new tank. Heavily planted. I'm planning on putting otos in eventually. My question is, I know they eat diatoms, but I also seem to have transported some sort of hair algae in with the plants from my big tank. (It got a bit out of control when I ran out of K for a week or two). Will the otos eat it as well or will I need to worry about it in this tank too? Thanks.

My Otos will only eat that stuff if I pour in half a bottle of Frank's Red Hot sauce. They don't like it plain.
