what to feed my yellow pufferfish?

I added this yellow puffer three days ago and he has nearly decimated all the pond snails n ramhorn snails. Except for a few bigger pond snails which he is too small to eat yet .

My question is now that there r no more snails in the tank, what should I feed this puffer with? He doesn't eat the regular flakes that my tetras eat...

That's a dwarf puffer. Feed him blood worms or brine shrimp.

You MUST keep a supply of snails for him to eat or else his beak with overgrow...which requires a very traumatic procedure Of clipping his beak if it gets to bad. I always fed mine feeder guppies and snails. The snails act as a file and keep his beak from over growing.

Snails are not required for Dwarf Puffers.

Ah I had figure 8 puffers I didn't notice these were dwarf! Lol my bad

You can feed dead or live food. Snails aren't necessary. I really like feeding blackworms .

I love these little fellas but they are not community fish :/ atleast not from me and my buddies experience!
