Which new fish to buy?

I want to get some new fish so I can increase the bio load in my 55 gal tank and get it to cycle (hopefully!). I really don't know what to get that will go well with my other fish. I have 2 pearl gouramis and 4 popsicle tetras. Anyone have any suggestions?

Zebra danios and White clouds are hardy fish that would go well with your other fish. I wouldn't add anything big to your tank for now, wait for that till your tank is cycled.
Maybe add a small school of 7 danios, that should do the trick after a while.......

Have you thought about what you'll be getting when you're cycled?

Going back to your other thread for a momment, did you get your water tested by a second party?

I am going to my LFS hopefully today to get that done. If not today, then tomorrow.

I don't know what I will be getting after the tank is cycled though.

I couldn't get any danios so instead I got 3 neon tetras, 2 guppies, and 3 black swords.
