Well After spending a bit of time and money on my puffer tank it looks great.
I think my puffer's also think it does as they are now in every level of water especially the male. Before the only way to see the puffer's was to feed them lol but now they are out constantly even though there are hiding places. I love it. My question ..... Both puffer's are at same end of the tank. One on floor (sand now 8) ) and the other in the higher levels of the water. i went to inspect them and found that the females tail is pink on the end. Any reason why ? as it was not like this before.

I think that it could be like a displaying thing, the female looking pretty for the male as you know what they say ....

"Pink makes the boys wink" LOL

What do you think ?

Keep an eye out. I don't know if its normal for puffers or not, but it doesn't sound like it. Is it just the tail? Any other areas of the body? Could be beginning of septicemia.

Just the tip of the tail I have read some where before that puffer's do it during spawning season/breeding
