Would this emmersed setup work?

My birthday is coming up and I am thinking about starting a emmersed setup. I am planning on getting this light:

I would put it inside my closet. The growbed would be a plastic box with a glass lid that I would get cut and just set it on top. I would probably get a plastic box like this:

I think I would just set the light right ontop of the glass and spray the plants with a spray bottle daily or every other day. This is where it would go:

Would a setup like this work? Is there any advice you can give me on this?

Nice drawing lol. If you set the MH right on top of the plants you will likely have a heat problem.

The light does come with a hanging kit, so I could hang it from the hanger thing. Would I need to get some kind of fogger? Or would a spray bottle work?

You don't need a fogger if you have a cover on it. You might have to mist it a few times a day for the first few days but the plants will eventually adust

What substrate would you recommend? Would I need root tabs? And what do you think of the light?

MH lights are great. As for substrate, going emersed means you can use soil, so just go with a good quality potting soil, organic or not doesn't matter.

Im trying to do an upscale of this that I just set up:

Didnt have a lamp, so I just made one out of a 2 liter and tin foil. Sorry for the crowded stand. I have my DIY co2, snail breeading bowl for my DP, food, ferts, and emersed growing thing in there. Lol
