Weird Slime

Hi everyone,
I just got a tank like 4 days ago, and added this snail. I’ve looked on Google images but couldn’t find any pictures that look like this, so I came to this forum. This yellow slime was coming out of my snail and so I smelled it (must be alive-no smell, and it relocated to another spot in the tank at some point today) and put it back down a little further from the slime. But what is this stuff? I’ve seen it on my prefilter once before. It doesn’t seem to fit descriptions of poop or eggs. Thanks !

Unfortunately I don’t have an answer for you because I’m dealing with the same thing but I will say mine is active and appears to be perfect healthy despite this slime - and my other snail is not affected. I tried a Q tip and a clean paint brush in an attempt to brush this crap off of him but it came right back
