Hi all, was wondering if I should be worried about these worms (?) In my shrimp tank. I noticed a few the other day, but tonight it looks like an army of them!!! If they're harmless, I don't mind. Just worried something nefarious may be going on. Looks like they're eating the algae on the glass. I'm fine with that lol.

Thanks,
Tellurye

Those are fine. I've had something similar in the past. IMO they resemble flat worms of sort (but not planarian).
In my shrimp tank I've seen a variety of invertebrates come and go. It's the ones the setup shop and start to over populate that concern me. I've seen seed shrimp, copepods, detritus worms, hydra, planaria, pond snails, mts, ramshorn snails, limpets, and the worms you are talking about. The only ones I really took action with was a bad bout of planaria. I safely and successfully treated the tank with fenbendazole.
