cant remember the name of this fish i saw

I was at my LFS today and saw this really cool fish.... it was a something cardinal i think... anyone know what it might have been?

Could be one of many cardinals but the most popular would probably be the Bangaii Cardinal.

they seem like it.. at the LFS they just sit there.. not bothering any other fishes.. hehe.. just a guess

As a single fish I would definitely call them non-aggressive. Mine has been in the tank for close to a year and a half and gets along great with my clown pair and royal gramma. In fact, he hangs out with the clown at their pseudo host and they accept him.
