cleaning old dry live rock

I just picked up some dry live rock off craigslist, it has been out of water for about a year. I would I clean it? I was thinking of power washing and a brush. Any ideas?

I got a bunch of rock from my uncles garage it was in there a few years. First i rinsed it really good with the hose then I put it in a Rubbermaid tub with a heater and powehead and dumped in tank water from a water change then just let it sit. Changed out all the water a couple times and shook it vigorously to get all the crap out of it. After about 6-8 weeks I added it to the sump and DT.

Sounds good guys. I'll be putting this into a 225 build come December. I couldn't pass up the rock 115 pounds for $30
