We use a ReefGadget to get our glass clean and we do that once or twice a week. It takes care of any coraline on the front and sides before it has a chance to take hold so there's never any to really scrape.

What is a ReefrGadget Phyl? I am always looking for nifty tools that work...I have a collection of those that don't ;)

the reefgadget works wonders... Great little tool, no more getting my hands wet using the razor blade.

The guy who makes it is a real nice guy..
I think its reefgadgets.com

My mag float seems to take care of the buildup. I hit the glass about once a week.

Spin

If your magfloat is taking it off then its not likely coraline. My mag wont touch it. Has to be scraped.
