Cycling tank

HI all, how long will it take to cycle a tank using just live rock and live sand? I have plenty of critters in the rock. Tank is now in week two and all of my reading are nil. Ph is 8.3. I am seeing a diatom bloom and plenty of feather dusters etc. or is there a chance that it has cycled? Thank you

Also to speed things up can I use frozen shrimp from supermarket or do they need to be fresh?

Either as long as it's raw...

If you haven't had spikes its not cycled. Add some prawn if it still stays nil you are cycled

Put raw prawn in tonight, should start to see things change soon!
