Hi I am gettimg back into salt water again and was aftwr some advice reference filtration. I.e skimmer uv sterilisation reactors and thing. What would be a really good filter set up. Any help is appreciated.

You could do skimmer an live rock that's pretty common. I think uv sterilizers are overkill in the beginning and have seen many outstanding setups without it. Down the road reactors will help to control phosphates and such. Really I would say get a good skimmer, a good amount of rock in the tank and sump if possible, good flow like 25-30 times turnover, and do weekly 10% water changes and you'll be golden.

What sort of flow rate thru a refugium is recommended?
I've read it should be slow flow?

Thks
