Filtration question?
Which is a better approach, Power filter or a sump? It would be a 30 long tank.

Sump. The additional water is benefit in itself, along with the filtration methods that can be applied within.

I agree with Sniperhank, the sump provides the best filtration, but for a tank that small my choice would be a Aqua Clear 70.
