Help with salt water

I want to start a saltwater tank. But i don't know how to or what I need to start it. I have a 55 gallon tank.

I would check out the articles and posts in the SW>Getting Started>Stickies section. A lot of helpful information available there. Also, checking out the SW builds in the Getting Started section from other AA users; it will give you a perspective of what they've gone through. Once you've gone through it, you'll probably have more questions.

Need to do lots of research. There several ways to do it. You will need some powerhead a, live rock for sure. If you do a reef you will need good lights and probably a protein skimmer.

Biggest thing is are going to do a sump or HOB equipment. Also there is tons of video on YouTube
