Initial fillup questions

I filled my tank half way so far...i ran out of the bottled r/o water....Im leaving to get more in a little while...anyways, is the tank suposed to be real foggy once I add the water? or is that not normal...

Just wondering, because I dont want to do anything wrong this early....

Also, would it help if i turned on my ph?

Hold off on turning the ph on until the sand settles.

It is normal for it to look foggy on the initial fill up.....

okay just making sure....also, the water has a few groups of bubble on the top of the water it kinda looks like suds...i never had any soap at all of any sort near the tank...can it be the water??....I bought r/o water from walmart...

Yes that is normal as well, as long as you did rinse it out.

also, the water I put in is the sodium free, distilled water....thats the same as r/o right? or did i put in the wrong stuff?
