aip war will contiune tonight when I come back.

went to a store near my school this morning and try to get some metalic green glove, but they ran out of it, so I bought a small cheap glove polyps instead. recently my netrite snails keep climbing all the way up and even out from my tank and dropped on the floor, anyone know the reason?
I think you mean "Clove polyps" and there are two types of Nitite snails, one that stays underwater and are smaller in size and a larger type that tend to climp out of the water at night. I guess to get away from predetors. The larger ones will end up on the floor most of the time and are a waste of money.

yea~ my typo XP

hahah I think I got the larger nitite snails, and yea they do away climb all the way up to the top. when I first got them, they do climb out from the tank and end up on the floor, but recently I think they have learned that not to climb out the tank, and so far a week already , no snails on the floor. they worked great for my tank, clean the diatom very nicely.

But incase, I m thinking to get some kind of net to cover the top.
any suggestion guys?

I think you may have only the smaller type left.
Here is what I did for my netting, from homeDepot:

HomeDepot sells the screen building kits and you just cut to length and put in the end inserts and your good to go. Buy the screen tool and spleen to hold the screen in place. I also put Refrigerator insulation on the bottom side of the screen to keep the aluminum off the glass.

I wept my netting and frame down at every PWC and it's so cheap to bulild that as soon as it shows, if it shows, I will just make another frame.

M-55, HomeDepot sells the frame and endpieces. Even comes with instructions.....

Here is another shot of the screening tool, spleen and 1/4" netting. Sorry I don't have a shot of the endpieces.
