Need help w/cloudy water

Hi all,
For the past 2 mths my tank water has been cloudy, its like smoky and its not dust. I have been doing water (RO) changes every other week with no luck. I also used the water clarifiers but it temporary and sice the the clarifier is brownish it settles at the bottom of the tank.
Should I just wait or do I need to do something else. Please Help
Thanks

How much do you feed? Cloudy water is a classic symptom of overfeeding. Try cutting WAY back for a few days and see if it clears up.
