I have a 55 gal tank. I have 3 small cardinals, two small emaral crabs, one clown, a few tiny hermets and one shrimp. How many, if any, more shrimp can I add?

Depending on the type you could have 3 or 4.

I have a few diffrent soft corals as well does that matter?

Depends on the shrimp. Camel shrimp get curious and may pick at coral. Peppermint and cleaner shrimp should be fine. You could get another clown while you are there. Also, pick up some nassarius snails for the sand and some astrea, trochus, and/or nerite snails for the rock and glass.

I agree. I do have experience with the fire or blood shrimp.
