I suppose many people in smaller towns go to Petcos 'cause that's the only choice for fish and supplies. julicat
julicat....I live in San Diego which is not some little town.
Some of the best deals I have ever found for fish was at a Petco.
I picked up my Huma Huma trigger for $14.99 and an awesome Neon Dottyback for $17.99. Most lfs have Huma Huma triggers in the same size or smaller for $24.99 and I have seen the Neon Dottybacks for as much as $49.99-79.99.
It pays to look around and compare. I visit Petco all the time to check out and compare prices. My last deal was for a Fromia starfish for $9.99.
