Krylon is fine. Just wipe the back down with rubbing alcohol, let dry and use light coats. Watch for drips so go nice and easy, make sure to tape up everything and cover the top. Nice a steady here will win the race. Many light coats...
You can also use a roller-applied paint as long as it is rated for glass and you dont mind a long curing time (a good choice for a large tank already inside the house).
I used benjamin moore with a no nap roller dried fast the finished turned out nice and smooth. I'd be careful spray painting with the fish in the tank better off with the roller. Its been on my tank for years
