I've got a 10 gallon tank with a 50W heater. Since I keep my house extremely cold, the heater is having a hard time keeping my temperatures higher than normal for my cycle. I've got it cranked up to the highest level it will go and it's sitting at around 78 degrees.

So my question is, should I buy a second 50W heater or should I get a larger heater?

Thanks,
Dan

2 heaters is always better than 1 in most cases;)

so either way would work as long as you keep the other

but the 50W should do

i personally would buy a larger one in case you decide to start another tank up so that way you could get a larger tank than a 10G

and anyways, there is only like $1 diff. in each 25W heaters go up
