besides aquarium decorations....

What else can be put safely into my tank besides store-bought (or online-bought) aquarium decorations? I don't really like the look of anything i've seen so far in any LFS or pet store.
I have a small tank, so don't tell me to go to the shore and grab some driftwood or anything. I'm just looking for something decently sized for my tiny 3-gallon guppy tank.

Also, what are some good websites to buy decorations online?

What about a small clay pot. I use them and pvc piping to make caves for my crayfish.

You may be able to pick up some feller stone or pagoda stone from your LFS. It may be "store bought", but it is natural stone and looks great in a tank.

LOL, I've had good luck in the past using small plastic toys picked up at rummage sales. Little tiny playhouses for little kid toys work pretty well... they're all non-toxic plastics, and look cute in there.

I also have a terra-cotta Coyote statue I got at a garage sale, washed it thoroughly and it looks cool in there.

Just a thought.
