My mom recently bought a pair of comets for my little brother and sister, and until recently has refused to hear it when I tell her the 2 gallon bowl they have is not even remotely enough space for them- or even that it needs a filter!

I'd like to rescue these goldfish, so I was wondering what would the minimum good size for a goldfish pond? Right now we only have a couple of comets, and I had never really planned to look after a pond so I don't plan on expanding it much- we also only have a small garden.

Rehome the fish if they can't have a decent sized pond. Get a couple small fish she doesn't have to take care of.easiest way

How big is decent sized? this is what I'm asking. So I can figure out if we have enough space or if we'll have to rehome them.

Well everyone on here will tell you differently, but a 5x5 2 ft deep pond would be fine for this year for just two comets .little small but it will do
