I keep having green algae on my rocks, plants (plastic) and would like to keep it in check. I might have the tank near too much light, but don't have another spot to move it to. What to do? Thanks.

What size is your tank? Can you describe your maintenance schedule? What equipment do you use (including your light)? How long has your tank been set up?

Without getting answers to those questions, the best I can advise is to manually clean your plastic plants and rocks, and use a scraper for the glass. Mag Floats work really well IME. :)

most plecos dont even eat algae anyways. amano shrimp eat great hair algae better then plecos. if its green spot algae the hard stuff to remove nerite snails do a great job also.
