New filter

Hello everyone,

I need help with a filter at the moment I have a Allpond 1000lph filter on my 600 liter tank but not to sure if its working just right I'm now thinking of moving on to a pond filter with pump whats your thoughts as my water still isn't running clear and I've tried every think

What stock is in the tank?

What is your feeding routine and how much are you feeding?

What is the water changing - how often and how much?

Usually the water issues are from excess food changing to ammonia, too many fish creating more waste than the filter can process. And or not changing enough water often enough.

You need cycled media growing a beneficial bacteria colony.

Do you know about the nitrification cycle and how often do you change your filter media, or rinse it in untreated tap water?
