new with fresh water tanks, i wana set up one

Hello, I'm new with fresh water tanks, I currently have a small 6 gallon nano-reef salt water tank.I want to set one up but i need help on what to do and what to put in it, I know like the basics and stuff. This is going to be a 2.5 gallon tank.Thanks.

I suppose you want to plant it? You will only need one 13 watt bulb, I would use a 6,500K

You need a
heater (I dont use mine but if it were cooler in the room i would)
Filter, as big as poss.
Poss. CO2 diy would be best on this one.
Substrate
