after 2 days of what? Is the tap 7.6, but the tank 6.0?

nothing i tested 2 days before it was 7.6 and now i tested it again and its 6.0. My tap water is 7.2.

Got plenty of surface agitation? High co2 levels could cause the pH to drop, but I'd expect some fish loss if it's high enough to drop it that low.

Let the tap water sit in a glass over night and "gas out" then test. I had the same issue out of the tap my PH was 7.6 but in the tank 6.6, after leaving the tap water sit out overnight it tested 6.6-6.7

yea but i have another tank thats a 5 gallon but its PH is 7.2 how does my other tank get to 6.0?

Do you have more fish in one tank compared to the other?

Fish do breath, the exchange of O2 and CO2 caused by a denser population of fish can lower pH in a heavier populated aquarium compared to a less populated aquarium.
