Platy and guppies

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with platys and guppies being aggressive?

I have 4 male guppies which I recently added to my tank and they seem to do nothing but chase the platys round and what looks like they are nipping at their fins, not sure if this is playful or not to be honest. They seem to only do it to one of the platys not all of them.

Anyone else had anything like this?

are the platy's female or male?.

I think one is male and one is female I lost 3 quite recently, it's the female one they keep bothering.
To be honest it's only one of them that's like that.

the problem with platy,guppies,molly's is that you should have at least 2 females per male,otherwise they will chase/harass the female all the time.

if you have a tank big enough to add more fish it should sort it out.

I'm at capacity as it is to be honest if I had of known this I would of added females sooner, hope she likes the attention
