it depends on the fish you are quarantining, but 5 gallons should work if you are doing lots of water changes

lol at my local petco the 5 gallons are 16.99 and the 10s are 15.99 weird huh?

depend on the size of the fish you are QTing. Most of my fish would fit nicely in a 10 gal tank. And many medications are packaged in 10 gallon increments if that's a clue.

I will +1 to the size of the fish. Generally, 10 gallons work very well. I've used my 10 gallon before for emergency QT situations
