Snails while Cycling?

Is it OK to put my 2 Apple Snails in my tank while cycling?

It depends on what kind of cycling you are doing. If you use the snails to cycle the tank it is fine. If you are doing fishless and adding ammonia I would not do it. If you are cycling with danios or something then it is fine, as well.

What?!? Where are the frozen shrimp (info gathered in another post)? Beacious, are you using ammonia from a bottle, or a biological organism (alive or dead)?
