What can I use as aquarium decorations? Can I use rocks or shells from the ocean?

I have things like muscle shells and barnacles in my freshwater tank. Tank has been up for over a year without a problem. I would boil it first tho

Rinse them out well, and as long as you aren't having pH issues, you should be fine.
