Which pool filter sand to buy?

I have been reading about using pool filter sand in a community tank?

I've heard about getting it at the home depot. What brand do I get ? And does it come in black ?

Check the link below on black diamond product ... Otherwise, you could just get regular silica sand.

Silica or silica free?

PFS tends to be good'ol silica sand which one finds at some beaches, though a little more coarse.
