Zucchini and Swordtails

I have 3 Swordtails in a 10g tank with the correct water parameters.

For the last 4 days, I have put a 1 inch by 1 inch square of boiled zucchini in my tank for my shrimp and incidently for my Swordtails.

They have been constantly eating it with the largest female sort of protecting it. They eat the cube in about a day and a half. Is that much zucchini good for them? Are the missing something and trying to get it from the zucchini?

I don't think them eating it every day is too good, since they need other vitamins and such, maybe once or twice a week would be better?

P.S. The company I used to work for built the prison in Madras.

That was my feeling to but they enjoy it so much. I will feed on Tuesday and Thursday.
